On Wednesday 3rd September our P4-7 pupils travelled to Iona to work with National Trust Scotland on an archaeological dig at Maol Cottage. This was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the history of our local community and different types of jobs within the National Trust. We learnt new skills and experienced what it would be like to be an archaeologist.
Whilst we were on Iona, we were also lucky to be able to attend the Mendelsshon on Mull concert in Iona Village Hall and hear the Maxwell Quartet perform before heading for our lunch at Iona Primary School.
